NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of Section 60 of the A.P.

Municipalities Act, 1965, and after giving Sri A. Hari, Chairperson, Puttur Municipality, a

reasonable opportunity of explanation as required under sub-section (2) thereof, and for

the reasons recorded in G.O.Rt.No. 135, Municipal Administration & Urban Development (G)

Department, dated. 09.02.2026, Government hereby removes Sri A. Hari from the office of

Chairperson, Puttur Municipality, with immediate effect, on the ground of abuse of position

and wilful omission to comply with the provisions of the A.P. Municipalities Act, 1965.
