NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (22) of section 2 of the Andhra Pradesh

Municipalities Act, 1965 (Act. No. 6 of 1965) read with rule 3 & 4 of the Andhra Pradesh

Municipalities (Gradation of Municipal Councils and Nagar Panchayats) Rules, 1995 issued in

G.O.Ms.No.32, MA & UD (J2) Department, date: 03-02-1995 read with G.O.Ms.No.25,

MA&UD (J2) Department, date: 23.01.2001, the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby

declare and upgrade the Chilakaluripet Municipality from Grade-I Municipality to Selection

Grade Municipality with immediate effect.
