NOTIFICATION

Whereas, the Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, AP., in his

Lr.Roc.No.13021/27/2025/H1, Dated: 23.03.2026, has requested the Government to

extend the term of the District Collector, Srikakulam as a Special Officer to Srikakulam

Municipal Corporation for a further period of six (6) months with effect from 11.04.2026

to 10.10.2026 (or) till the elected body comes into force, whichever is earlier.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 17 of the Andhra Pradesh

Municipal Corporation Act, 1994 read with Section 70 G of the Municipal Corporations

Act, 1955, Government after careful examination, hereby extend the term of the District

Collector, Srikakulam as a Special Officer to Srikakulam Municipal Corporation for a

further period of six (6) months with effect from 11.04.2026 to 10.10.2026 (or) till the

elected body comes into force, whichever is earlier.

The Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, AP., is requested to

take necessary action in the matter.
