NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred under section 585 of the Municipal Corporations Act,

1955 (formerly known as GHMC Act, 1955), the Government of Andhra Pradesh, hereby, makes the

following Amendment to the Andhra Pradesh Municipal Corporations (Fixation of Strength of Elected

Members) Rules, 2005 and as amended from time to time:-

AMENDMENT

In the said Rules: -

i.

The proviso (ii) under Rule 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipal Corporations (Fixation of

Strength of Elected Members) Rules, 2005 shall be omitted.
