NOTIFICATION

Whereas, vide G.O.Rt.No. 284, MA&UD (G) Department, Date: 10.03.2026,

among others, Government have issued orders appointing the Joint Collector,

Parvathipuram Manyam District, as Special Officer to Parvathipuram Municipality and

vide G.O.Rt.No. 339, MA&UD (G) Department, dated: 17.03.2026 Government issued

orders appointing the District Collector, Parvathipuram Manyam District as the Special

Officer to Parvathipuram Municipality in place of the Joint Collector on administrative

grounds.

In the reference 3^rd read above, the Commissioner and Director of Municipal

Administration, AP., has proposed to issue orders appointing the Revenue Divisional

Officer (RDO), Parvathipuram, as the Special Officer to Parvathipuram Municipality in the

interest of administration and facilitating the overall development of the Municipality.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso under sub section (1) of

Section 62-A of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965, the Government of Andhra

Pradesh hereby appoints Revenue Divisional Officer, Parvathipuram as the Special

Officer to Parvathipuram Municipality with immediate effect in place of District Collector,

Parvathipuram Manyam District, (Present Special officer) on administrative grounds.
