In pursuance of the provision of Rule 4 (i) of the Andhra Pradesh

Municipalities (Division of Nagar Panchayats and Municipalities into Wards)

Rules,1994 issued by the Government in G.O. Ms. No. 31, MA&UD (Elec-I),

dated 03-02-1995 objections and subjections were called for from residence of

city(Tenali Municipality) in the preliminary notification Roc No.272/2026/G1,

Dt.18-05-2026.

In Pursuance of the provisions of Rule 13 of the Andhra Pradesh

Municipalities (Division of Nagar Panchayats and Municipalities into Wards)

Rules,1994 Residence of Tenali Municipality are hereby informed that

delimitation of the 52 wards of Tenali Municipality is confirmed as detailed

below :

East:Nehru Road, NSSM High school Road and Telaprolu Road.

South :Bhagat Singh Road and VSR and NVR College Road

West:Somasundharapalem panchayat.

The boundary of ward No. 1 commences at the North-East corner of

Telaprolu Panchayat near Aruna hospital and Telaprolu road. From there, it

proceeds

Southward

along

the

Eastern

side

Telaprolu

road,

IthanagarCheruvu and Nehru road up to the junction of Lingarao Centre

formed by Nehru Road and Bhagat singh Road. Thereafter, the boundary

continues toBhagat Singh Road towards Westward along Southern side up to

the junction of YSR Circle and further proceeds to VSR and NVR college road

up to the border of Tenali Municipality Limits and Somasundharapalem

Panchayat. From this point, the boundary runs Northward along Ithanagar

park and Waterworks up to the border of Telaprolu panchayat. Finally, it

turns Eastward along Northern side of Telaprolu panchayat and continues

up to the starting point at the North-East corner, thereby completing the

boundary.

South:Golidonka Road

West: Nehru Road, NSSM High School Road and Telaprolu Road

The boundary of Ward No.2 begins at the North-East corner where the

Tenali–Siripuram Road meets the boundaries of Telaprolu Panchayat and

Nelapadu Panchayat. From there, the Eastern boundary proceeds Southward

along the Nelapadu Panchayat boundary up to the junction where Golidonka

Road meets the Nelapadu Panchayat boundary. Thereafter, the Southern

boundary runs Westward along Golidonka Road up to Lingarao Centre

Junction, where Nehru Road intersects with Golidonka Road. From there,

the Western boundary extendsNorthward along Nehru Road, passing by

Ithanagar Tank and Telaprolu Road, until it reaches the Telaprolu Panchayat

boundary. The boundary then proceeds Eastward along the Northern

boundary and further follows the municipal limits Northward up to the

Tenali Municipal boundary. Finally, it continues Eastward along the

Northern boundary and reaches the North-East corner, thereby completing

the ward boundary.

North : GoliDonka Road

East : Nelapadu Gram Panchayat.

South : Sarkar Donka Road adjoining the Irrigation Canal and Paladri

Canal Road (DangeVariVeedhi)

West : T.R.S. Colony Road and Chhatrapati Shivaji Road.

The boundary of Ward No. 3 commences at the North-East corner

where the Nelapadu Gram Panchayat boundary meets the Tenali Municipal

limits. From there, the boundary proceeds Southward along the Eastern

boundary adjoining the Nelapadu Gram Panchayat up to GoliDonka

Road.Thereafter, the boundary follows GoliDonka Road Eastward and

reaches the junction of the Nelapadu Gram Panchayat and the Tenali

Municipal boundary. It then proceeds Southward along the Tenali Municipal

limits up to the boundary of the proposed Ward No. 4.From that point, the

boundary extends Westward along the Southern boundary up to Lam

Hanumantha Rao Veedhi. It then turns Southward along the Eastern

boundary and continues up to the Paladri Canal Junction.From there, the

boundary proceeds Westward along theSouthern boundary following the

Paladri Canal up to the South-West corner formed by the junction of T.R.S.

Colony Road and the Paladri Canal, near Haritha English School.Thereafter,

the boundary runs Northward along the Western boundary up to the

junction of Eedara Ramaiah Veedhi and T.R.S. Colony Road. From there, it

proceeds Westward for a short distance and then turns Northward again

along the Western boundary up to the junction of Chhatrapati Shivaji Road

and GoliDonka Road, forming the North-West corner of the ward.Finally, the

boundary follows GoliDonka Road Eastward along the Northern boundary

until it reaches the North-East corner, thereby completing the boundary.

North :Sarkar Donka Road adjoining the Irrigation Canal and Paladri

The boundary of Ward No. 4 commences at the North-East corner where the

Nelapadu Gram Panchayat boundary meets the Tenali Municipal limits.

From there, the boundary proceeds Southward along the Eastern side

adjoining the Nelapadu Gram Panchayat and the Tenali Municipality

Compost Yard up to Burripalem Road, forming the South-East corner of the

ward.From that point, the boundary runs Westward along Burripalem Road

up to AdusumalliVariVeedhi, forming the South-West corner of the

ward.Thereafter,

the

boundary

proceeds

Northward

along

AdusumalliVariVeedhi up to the Paladri Canal. The boundary then follows

the Paladri Canal (JendaChettu) Eastward and subsequently turns

Northward for a short distance until it reaches Sarkar Donka Road at its

junction with the Irrigation Canal, forming the North-West corner of the

ward.Thereafter, the boundary proceeds Eastward along Sarkar Donka Road

and the Irrigation Canal up to the North-East corner near the Nelapadu

Gram Panchayat boundary, thereby completing the boundary.

North :Paladri Canal Road (DangeVariVeedhi)

South :Muniswamy Naidu Road (Burripalem Road)

West:Lenin Road

The boundary of Ward No. 5 commences at the North-East corner formed by

the junction of Paladri Canal Road and ShakhamuriVariVeedhi. From there,

the boundary proceeds Southward along AdusumalliVariVeedhi up to the

junction of AdusumalliVariVeedhi and Muniswamy Naidu Road (Burripalem

Road), forming the South-East corner of the ward.From that point, the

boundary runs Westward along Muniswamy Naidu Road (Burripalem Road)

up to Lenin Road near JendaChettu Junction, forming the South-West

corner of the ward.Thereafter, the boundary proceeds Northward along Lenin

Road up to the junction of Paladri Canal Road and Lenin Road, forming the

North-West corner of the ward.Finally, the boundary follows Paladri Canal

Road Eastward up to the point of commencement at the North-East

corner,thereby completing the boundary.

North :KataragaddaVari Street, Paladri Canal

South :Muniswamy Naidu Road (Burripalem Road)

West:Kaviraja Park Road.

The boundary of Ward No. 6 commences at the North-East corner formed by

the junction of Lenin Road and Paladri Canal Road. From there, the boundary

proceeds Southward along the Eastern side of Lenin Road up to the junction of

Lenin Road and Muniswamy Naidu Street, thereby forming the South-East

corner of the ward boundary. Thereafter, the boundary continues Westward

along Muniswamy Naidu Street on the Southern side up to the junction of

Muniswamy Naidu Street and Kaviraja Park Road, known as Shivaji Chowk,

thereby forming the South-West corner of the ward boundary.From there, the

boundary proceeds Northward along the Western side of Kaviraja Park Road up

to the junction of Kaviraja Park Road and KatragaddaVariVeedhi, thereby

forming the North-West corner of the ward boundary. Thereafter, the boundary

runs Eastward along KatragaddaVariVeedhi, then slightly turns Northward

along TNC Club Road, and further proceeds through Subhani Road. The

boundary then continues Northward along Paladri Canal Road up to the

starting point at the North-East corner, thereby completing the boundary of

Ward No. 6.

North :Paldri Canal Road.

East :Subhani Road and TNC Club Road

South :Subhani Road and KatragaddaVari Street.

West:Vinayaka Temple Road and British School Road.

The boundary of Ward No. 7 commences at the North-East corner formed by

the junction of Paladri Canal Road and Subhani Road. From there, the

boundary proceeds Southward along Subhani Road on the Eastern side and

then slightly turns Westward into TNC Club Road. It further proceeds

Southward along TNC Club Road up to the junction of KatragaddaVari Street

and TNC Club Road, thereby forming the South-East corner of the ward

boundary. Thereafter, the boundary continues Westward along KatragaddaVari

Street on the Southern side up to the junction of KatragaddaVari Street and

Kaviraja Park Road. From there, the boundary turns Southward along Kaviraja

Park Road up to Alapati Vari Street. From this point, the boundary runs

Westward along Alapati Vari Street and then turns Northward along British

School Road. It further proceeds Westward along KatragaddaVari Street up to

the junction of KatragaddaVari Street and Vinayaka Temple Street, thereby

forming the South-West corner of the ward boundary.

North :KataragaddaVari Street, Alapati Vari Street.

East :Kaviraja Park Road.

South :Muniswamy Naidu Street.

West : Nehru Road.

The boundary of Ward No. 8 commences at the North-East corner

formed by the junction of Alapati Vari Street and Kaviraja Park Road. From

there, the boundary proceeds Southward along the Eastern side of Kaviraja

Park Road up to the junction of Kaviraja Park Road and Muniswamy Naidu

Street i.e; Shivaji Chowk, thereby forming the South-East corner of the ward

boundary. Thereafter, the boundary continues Westward along Muniswamy

Naidu Street on the Southern side up to the junction of Muniswamy Naidu

Street and Nehru Road, thereby forming the South-West corner of the ward

boundary. From there, the boundary proceeds Northward along Nehru Road

on the Western side up to the S-junction of Nehru Road and Furniture Road.

The boundary then slightly turns Eastward and reaches Vinayaka Temple

Street, and thereafter proceeds Northward along Vinayaka Temple Street up

to the junction of Vinayaka Temple Street and KatragaddaVari Street.

Thereafter, the boundary runs Eastward along KatragaddaVari Street on the

Northern side and then slightly turns Southward along British School Road.

It further turns Eastward along Alapati Vari Street and continues up to the

starting point at the North-East corner, thereby completing the boundary of

Ward No. 8.

North :Muniswamy Naidu Street.

East :GantaBullaiah Chowdary Street, Kamisettyvari street.

South :Devi chowk road.

West : Bose Road.

The boundary of Ward No. 09 commences at the North-East corner

formed by the junction of Muniswamy Naidu Street and GantaBullaiah

Chowdary Street. From there, the boundary proceeds Southward along the

Eastern side i.e; GantaBullaiah Chowdary Street up to the junction of Town

Hall Street and GantaBullaiah Chowdary Street. Thereafter, the boundary

continues Eastward along the Northern side of Town Hall Street up to the

junction of KamisettyVari Street and Town Hall Street. From there, the

boundary proceeds Southward along the Eastern side of KamisettyVari

Street up to the MudduBommalu Junction at Devi Chowk Road and

KamisettyVari Street,thereby forming the South-East corner of the ward

boundary. From this point,the boundary turns Westward along the Southern

side of Devi Chowk Roadand continues up to the junction of Bose Road and

Devi Chowk Road, popularly known as Swaraj Talkies Center, thereby

forming the South-West corner of the ward boundary. Thereafter, the

boundary proceeds Northward along the Western side of Bose Road up to the

junction of Bose Road and Muniswamy Naidu Street, popularly known as

Gandhi Chowk, thereby forming the North-West corner of the ward

boundary. Finally, the boundary runs Eastward along the Northern side of

Muniswamy Naidu Street up to the starting point at the North-East corner,

thereby completing the boundary of Ward No. 09.

East :Purushottamvari Street, Nakkavari street, kokavari street.

South :Akkulavari street, Town hall road.

West :Bullaiah Chowdary street , Kamisettyvari street.

The boundary of Ward No. 10 commences at the North-East corner

formed by the junction of Muniswamy Naidu Street and PurushottamVari

Street. From there, the boundary proceeds Southward along the Eastern side

through PurushottamVari Street, NakkaVari Street, and Koka Vari Street up

to the junction of AkkulaVari Street and Koka Vari Street, thereby forming

the South-East corner of the ward boundary. Thereafter, the boundary

continues Westward along the Southern side of AkkulaVari Street up to the

junction of KamisettyVari Street and AkkulaVari Street. From there, the

boundary proceeds Northward along the Western side of KamisettyVari

Street up to the junction of Town Hall Road and KamisettyVari Street.

Thereafter, the boundary turns Westward along Town Hall Road and

continues up to the junction of GantaBullaiah Chowdary Street and Town

Hall Road, thereby forming the South-West corner of the ward boundary.

From there, the boundary proceeds Northward along the Western side of

GantaBullaiah Chowdary Street up to the junction of GantaBullaiah

Chowdary Street and Muniswamy Naidu Street, thereby forming the North-

West corner of the ward boundary. Finally, the boundary runs Eastward

along the Northern side of Muniswamy Naidu Street up to the starting point

The boundary of Ward No. 11 commences at the North-East corner

formed by the junction of Muniswamy Naidu Street (Burripalem Road) and

the Nelapadu Panchayat boundary. From there, the boundary proceeds

Southward along the Eastern side adjoining the Municipal boundary up to

the junction of Nelapadu Panchayat boundary and the Lakshmi Narasimha

Swamy Temple Road extension area,thereby forming the South-East corner

of the ward boundary. Thereafter, the boundary continues Westward along

the Southern side of the Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple Road extension

area up to the junction of Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple Road and

PulipakaVari Street Cross Road. From there, the boundary turns Northward

along the Western side of PulipakaVari Street Cross Road up to PulipakaVari

Street, and further proceeds Westward along the Southern side up to the

junction of PurushothamaVari Street and PulipakaVari Street, thereby

forming the South-West corner of the ward boundary. From there, the

The boundary of Ward No. 12 commences at the North-East corner

formed by the junction of Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Vari Street (Extension

Area) and the Nelapadu Panchayat boundary. From there, the boundary

proceeds Southward along the Eastern side adjoining the Municipal

boundary up to the junction of the Nelapadu Panchayat boundary and

KolluruVari Street Road (Extension Area), thereby forming the South-East

corner of the ward boundary. Thereafter, the boundary runs Westward along

the Southernside of the KolluruVari Street Extension Area up to the junction

of KolluruVari Street and Koka vari Street, thereby forming the South-West

corner of the ward boundary. From there, the boundary turns Northward

along the Western side adjoining Koka Vari Street and NakkaVari Street up

Boundary. From there, it proceeds Southward along the Nelapadu Village

Boudary up to the junction of Nelapadu Village Boundary and JandyalaVari

Street. Thereafter, the boundary continues along Jandyalavari Street towards

West along the Jandyalavari Street up to RTO office and further proceeds

Westward up to the junction of Kamisettyvari Street to AkkulaVari street and

KamisettyvariStreet.From this point, the boundary runs Eastward along

puttavari street and continues up to the starting point at the North-East

corner, thereby completing the boundary.

The boundary of Ward No. 14 commences at the North-East corner

formed by the junction of JandhyalaVari Street and the Nelapadu Panchayat

boundary. From there, the boundary proceeds Southward along the Eastern

side adjoining the Nelapadu Panchayat boundary up to the junction of Thota

Vari Street–2 and the Nelapadu Panchayat boundary, thereby forming the

South-East corner of the ward boundary. Thereafter, the boundary continues

Westward along the Southern side of Thota Vari Street–2 up to the junction

of Thota Vari Street–2 and Satyanarayana Vari Street, thereby forming

the South-West corner of the ward boundary. From there, the boundary

turns Northward along the Western side adjoining Satyanarayana Vari Street

The boundary of Ward No. 15 commences at the North-East corner

formed by the junction of Thota Vari Street–2 and the JaggadiguntaPalem

Panchayat boundary. From there, the boundary proceeds Southward along

the Eastern side adjoining Tenali Municipal boundary up to the Tenali

boundary limits. Thereafter, the boundary slightly turns Eastward and again

proceeds Southward along the Eastern side adjoining the Tenali Municipal

boundary up to the junction of the Tenali–Repalle Railway Track and the

JaggadiguntaPalem Panchayat boundary, thereby forming the South-East

corner of the ward boundary. Thereafter, the boundary continues Westward

along the Northern side of the Tenali–Repalle Railway Track up to the

Christian Burial Ground. From there, the boundary turns Northward along

the Chinnaravuru Burial Ground Road near Chinnaravuru Railway Station

and further proceeds Northward along the Western side adjoining

ChinnaravuruDonka Road up to the junction of MukantiVari Street and

ChinnaravuruDonka Road. From there, the boundary turns Eastward up to

the junction of Donka Road and MukantiVari Street near Khannabhiram

Apartment Road, and then turns Northward along the Western side adjoining

Donka Road near Khannabhiram Apartments up to the junction of Thota

Vari Street. Thereafter, the boundary proceeds Westward along the Southern

side of Thota Vari Street up to Chinnaravuru Station Road near the

Chinnaravuru Water Tank, and then turns Northward along of Thota

Variside of Thota Vari Street up to Chinnaravuru Station Road near the

Chinnaravuru Water Tank, and then turns Northward along Thota Vari

Street–2 and Chinnaravuru Station Road, thereby forming the North-West

corner of the ward boundary. Finally, the boundary runs Eastward along the

Northern side of Thota Vari Street–2 up to the starting point at the North-

East corner, thereby completing the boundary of Ward No. 15.

North : Mother Teresa School Road, Layman’s Evangelical Church Road,

and Chinnaravuru Railway Track.

East : Jagadiguntapalem Gram Panchayat.

South : KendriyaVidyalayam and Jagadiguntapalem Irrigation Canal

West : Chinnaravuru Thota Main Road and Pedaravuru–Tenali

The boundary of Ward No. 16 commences at the North-East

corner formed by the junction of the Chinnaravuru Railway Track and the

Jagadiguntapalem Gram Panchayat boundary. From there, the boundary

proceeds Southward along the Eastern side adjoining the Jagadiguntapalem

Gram Panchayat boundary up to the Tenali Municipal boundary limits.

Thereafter, the boundary turns Westward along the Southern side adjoining

the Jagadiguntapalem Gram Panchayat boundary up to the junction of the

Jagadiguntapalem Panchayat Road. From there, the boundary proceeds

Northward along the Western side adjoining the Jagadiguntapalem Gram

Panchayat Road and the Tenali Municipal boundary limits. Further, the

boundary turns Westward along the Southern side adjoining the Tenali

Municipal boundary near KendriyaVidyalayam up to the junction of the

Jagadiguntapalem Panchayat Road and the Tenali Municipal boundary.

From there, the boundary turns Northward along the Western side up to the

junction

Teresa School Road and then slightly turns Southward before proceeding

Eastward up to Lutheran Church Road. From there, the boundary turns

Northward up to Layman’s Evangelical Church Road and continues

Northward along the Western side adjoining the Jagadiguntapalem

Panchayat Road up to the Chinnaravuru Railway Track, thereby forming the

North-East corner of the ward boundary. Finally, the boundary turns

Eastwards to North side i.e; Repalle to Tenali railway track and meets the

starting point at the North-East corner, thereby completing the boundary of

Ward No. 16.

The boundary of Ward No. 17 commences at the North-East corner

formed by the junction of the Chinnaravuru Railway Track near the Railway

Gate and the Jagadiguntapalem Panchayat Road. From there, the boundary

proceeds Southward along the Eastern side adjoining the Chinnaravuru

Thota to Jagadiguntapalem Road up to the junction of Mother Teresa Church

Road and Layman Evangelical Church Road, thereby forming the South-East

corner of the ward boundary. Thereafter, the boundary continues Westward

along the Southern side adjoining Layman Evangelical Church Road up to

the junction of Mother Teresa Church Road and the Tenali –Pedaravuru

Road, thereby forming the South-West corner of the ward boundary. From

there, the boundary turns Northward along the Western side adjoining the

Tenali–Pedaravuru Road up to the Chinnaravuru Railway Track, thereby

The boundary of Ward No. 18 commences at the North-East corner

formed by the junction of Thota Vari Street and Donka Road. From there, the

boundary proceeds Southward along the Eastern side adjoining Kannabhi

Ram Apartment Road. Thereafter, the boundary slightly turns Westward

along the Southern side adjoining MukantiVari Street up to the

Chinnaravuru Railway Station Road near the Christian Burial Ground and

continues up to the junction of the Christian Burial Ground Road and the

Repalle–Tenali Railway Track, thereby forming the South-East corner of the

ward boundary. From there, the boundary runs Westward along the

Thota Vari Street up to the starting point at the North-East corner, thereby
