Delimitation of Wards in Rayadurg Municipality

NOTIFICATION

In pursuance of the provision of Rule 4 (i) of the Andhra Pradesh

Municipalities (Division of Nagar Panchayats and Municipalities into Wards)

Rules, 1994 issued by the Government in G.O.Ms.No.31, MA&UD (Elec-I),

dated 03-02-1995, objections and suggestions were called for from

residents of city in the Preliminary Notification No 90/G1/2026, date 05-

09-2026

In pursuance of the provisions of Rule 13 of the Andhra Pradesh

Municipalities (Division of Nagar Panchayats and Municipalities into Wards)

Rules, 1994, residents of Rayadurg Municipality are hereby informed that

Delimitation of the 40 Wards of Rayadurg Municipality is confirmed as

detailed below:

WARD NO:01

North- The boundary line starts from the Rayadurg–

Bondanakal Village bi-junction point, located at the north-

west corner of Sy. No. 165, and proceeds in an eastward

direction along the boundary of Sy. No. 165. It then continues

along the northern boundary of Sy. No. 166 and terminates at

the north-east corner of Sy. No. 166.

East- The boundary line starts from the north-east corner of

Sy. No. 166 and proceeds in a southward direction along its

boundary. It passes along the eastern side road boundary of

Old Gowda Layout, continuing up to Gowda Layout, and

further passes through Sy. No. 193 up to the railway

track.From there, it follows the alignment of the railway track

up to the southern boundary of Sy. No. 204, where it turns to

west direction and proceeds along the northern boundaries of

Sy. Nos. 221 and 222, reaching the north-west corner of Sy.

No. 222. It then turns southward along the western boundary

of Sy. No. 222 until it meets the main drain. From there, it

turns to west direction again and follows the drain alignment

up to Door No. 17-2-226/12.The boundary then diverts into

the Kuna Nagappa Sunkanna School Road, proceeds along the

rear side of the Vinayaka Temple, and continues up to

Obulachari Road, where it terminates at Door No. 17-2-212 on

the left side.

South:

The boundary line starts from Door No. 17-2-212 and

proceeds in a westward direction, terminating at the bi-

junction of Bellary Road and Ukkada Anjaneya Swamy

Temple Road.

West:

The boundary line starts from the north-west corner of Sy. No.

165 and proceeds in a southward direction along its boundary.

It crosses the railway track and meets Bellary Road, then

continues along Bellary Road in a north-to-south direction up

to the bi-junction of Bellary Road and Ukkada Anjaneya

Swamy Temple Road, where it connects with the south

boundary.

WARD NO:02

North:

The boundary line starts from the Bi-junction point of Bellary

Road and Ukkada Anjaneya Swamy Temple Road and

towards west-to-direction upto Obulachari Road.

East:

The boundary line starts from the D.No.14-1-36 and travels in

North-South direction upto D.No.14-1-18 and it turns to west

direction upto D.No.14-1-123 and it again turns towards south

side and runs towards the Kallimatam School Road an ends at

D.No.14-2-162.

South:

The Boundary line starts from D.No.14-2-162 and run in East-

West Direction along the boundary between the Revenue

Ward Nos.13 & 14 and ends at Bellary Road at D.No.14-2-

158.

West:

The boundary line starts from the Bi-junction point of Bellary

Road and Ukkada Anjaneya Swamy Temple Road and runs in

North-South Direction and ends at D.No.14-2-158.

WARD NO.03

North:

The Boundary line starts from D.No.14-2-162 and run in East-

West Direction along the boundary between the Revenue

Ward Nos.13 & 14 and ends at Bellary Road at D.No.14-2-

158.

East:

The boundary line starts from the D.No.14-1-16 in the

Obulachari Road and travels in North-South direction passes

through the D.Nos.14-1-1,13-1-37 and ends at D.No.13-2-192

South:

The boundary line starts from the D.No.13-2-192 in the

Obulachari Road and travels in East-West direction passes

through the D.No.13-2-182 and ends at D.No.13-2-165 in

Bellary Road.

West:

The boundary line starts from the D.No.14-1-124/2 and travels

in North-South direction passes through the D.No.14-1-126

upto 14-2-164 and it turns to west direction and passes

through the Revenue Ward Nos.13 & 14 upto 13-1-80 in

Bellary Road and runs again in North-South Direction and

ends at D.No.13-2-165.

North:

The boundary line starts from the D.No.12-1-146 in the

Bellary Road and travels in West-East direction and passes

between the Revenue ward Nos.13 & 12 and ends at D.No.12-

1-39.

East- The boundary line starts from the D.No.12-1-39 in the

Obulachari Road and runs in North-South direction passes

through the Shiva temple runs along the Obulachari Road

crosses the Dasappa Road and continue to pass along the

Obulachari Road and ends at D.No.11-1-1 at Market Area.

South- The boundary line starts from the D.No.11-1-1 in the

Obulachari Road and travels in East-West direction and ends

at D.No.11-1-30 in Bellary Road.

West- The boundary line starts from the D.No.12-1-146 in

Bellary Road and runs towards North-South direction and

ends at D.No.11-1-30 at Vinayaka Circle.

North:

The boundary line starts from the Bi-junction point of

Obulachari Road and Dasappa Road at D.No.11-1-118/1 and

runs in West-East direction crossing the D.No.10-5-642 and

ends at D.No.10-1-656/3

East:

The boundary line starts from D.No.10-5-656/3 at Dasappa

Road and runs towards North-South Direction crosses the

Door Nos.10-4-513, 10-4-507/6 and ends at D.No.10-4-444/3

at Anantapur Road.

South:

The boundary line starts from D.No. 10-4-444/3 at Anantapur

Road and runs towards the East-West Direction crossing the

Governement Hospital and ends at the Bi-junction point of

Obulachari Road & Anantapur Road at Vegetable Market.

The boundary line starts from D.No.11-1-118/4 at Bi-junction

point of Obulachari Road & Dasappa Road and runs in North-

South direction crossing the Banni-Mahankali Temple and

ends at Bi-junction point of Obulachari Road & Anantapur

North:

The boundary line starts from D.No.15-2-189/3 at Obulachari

Road and runs in West-East side upto D.No.15-2-164/1 and it

turns and runs in north direction upto D.No.15-3-310/1 and it

again turns and runs in east direction upto D.No.15-3-362 and

again it turns and runs in south direction upto Crescent School

Road and again it turns and runs in East direction ends at

D.No.15-3-448/5.

East:

The boundary line starts at D.No.15-3-448/5 and runs towards

North-South Direction and passes on the west side of the

D.No.15-4-460/9-1 and further continues to Shaadi Mahal

Road which ends at D.No.15-1-40 at Dasappa Road.

South:

The boundary line starts from D.No.15-1-39/2 at Dasappa

Road and runs towards the East-West Direction crossing the

WAQF Board land and crossing the D.Nos.15-1-46,15-1-52

and ends at Bi-junction point of Obulachari Road & Dasappa

Road at D.No.15-1-59

West:

The boundary line starts from D.No.15-2-189/3 at Obulachari

Road and runs in North-South direction crossing the

D.Nos.15-1-82, 15-1-72 and ends at Bi-junction point of

Obulachari Road & Dasappa Road at D.No.15-1-59.

The boundary line starts from the Bi-junction point of

Obulachari Road and Nethaji Road at D.No.15-2-230 and

runs in West-East direction upto D.No.15-4-497 belongs to

Annapurna Silk Industries and turns and runs in South

Direction for a small stretch at D.No.15-2-288/2 and it again

turns and runs in east direction and ends at 15-3-331/1.

East:

The boundary line starts from D.No.15-3-331/1 and runs

towards North-South Direction for a long stretch crossing the

D.Nos.15-3-339/1, 15-3-353/1 and ends at D.No.15-3-361.

South:

The boundary line starts from D.No.15-3-361 and runs

towards the East-West Direction upto the D.No.15-2-273/12

and it turns and runs in south direction for a small portion upto

Crescent School Road and it again turns and runs in East-West

direction which ends at D.No.15-2-190 at Obulachari Road.

West:

The boundary line starts from D.No.15-2-230 at Bi-junction

point of Obulachari Road & Nethaji Road and runs in North-

South direction for a long run crossing the D.Nos.15-2-217,

The boundary line starts at D.No.17-2-226/12 at the Kuna

Nagappa School Road and runs in West-East direction along

alignment of the main drain upto D.No.16-1-142 and it turns

and runs in north direction upto and it again turns and runs in

west east direction upto.

junction of Ananthapur Road and Gopal Rao Hospital Road at

East:

The boundary line starts from the junction of Ananthapur

Road and Gopal Rao Hospital Road at Door No. 9-5-634 (Old

A. Gopal Rao Hospital), and runs in the North–South direction

beside the western boundary of R & B Guest House up to

Door No. 9-4-600/3 and then turns in west direction upto 9-4-

581/3 and then turns in South direction and runs parallel to the

Rajeev Gandhi Colony Main Road and ends at 9-4-534/3.

South:

The boundary line starts from Door No. 9-4-482/1-2 and runs

West:

along Ananthapur Road in the west-to-east direction, passing

Door No. 9-2-289, and ends at Door No. 9-3-306 (BSNL

Office), which is the junction of Ananthapur Road and BSNL

Office Road.

East:

The boundary line starts from Door No. 9-3-410, at the

junction of Ananthapur Road and BSNL Office Road. It runs

in the north-to-south direction along the eastern side of BSNL

Office Road, passing Door No. 9-3-307/1 (midpoint), and

continues up to Door No. 9-3-325/1. From there, it turns

towards the east at the north-east corner of the Social Welfare

Girls Hostel and ends at Door No. 9-3-344/1, located at the

south-east corner of the same hostel.

South:

The boundary line starts at backside of Door No. 9-2-153 and

proceeds in the west-to-east direction upto Duggilamma

Temple and turns in north direction upto the Duggilamma

Temple Road, passing the midpoint at Door No. 9-3-329, and

ends at Door No. 9-3-344/1, which is the south-east corner of

the Social Welfare Girls Hostel.

West:

The boundary line starts at Door No. 9-2-215, at the junction

of Big Bazaar and Ananthapur Road, and runs in the north-to-

south direction, passing Door No. 9-1-146, and ends at Door

No. 9-1-154/2.

WARD NO.22

North:

The boundary line starts at Door No. 9-1-15 (Jambukeshwara

Complex, Old Bus Stand), which is the junction of

Ananthapur Road and Tower Clock Road. It proceeds in the

west-to-east direction, passing through the Old Bus Stand,

Sub-Registrar Office, and Girls Hostel, and ends at Door No.

9-1-135, located at the junction of Ananthapur Road and Big

Bazaar (opposite Mudugulamma Temple).

East:

The boundary line starts at Door No. 9-1-135, at the junction

of Ananthapur Road and Big Bazaar (opposite Mudugulamma

Temple). It proceeds in the north-to-south direction passing

beside the Door No.9-2-153 then diverts towards the east upto

Duggilamma Temple and turns in north direction upto the

Duggilamma Temple Road and runs in east direction up to

Door No. 9-3-334. From there, it passes along the southern

backside of the Social Welfare Girls Hostel up to Door No. 9-

3-351, then turns south and reaches Door No. 9-3-435. It

continues in the north-to-south direction up to Door No. 9-4-

482/1-2. Thereafter, it diverts to meet the junction of Rajeev

Gandhi Colony Road and NH 544DD, and ends at Survey No.

258 (south-east corner), i.e., the Burial Ground (Harischandra

Ghat).

South:

The boundary line starts at the tri-junction point of Survey

Nos. 277 and 278 and NH 544DD. It proceeds along NH

544DD in the west-to-east direction up to the junction of

Rajeev Gandhi Colony Road and NH 544DD, and ends at

Survey No. 258 (south-east corner), i.e., the Burial Ground

(Harischandra Ghat).

West:

The boundary line starts at Door No. 9-1-15 (Jambukeshwara

Complex, Old Bus Stand), which is the junction of

Ananthapur Road and Tower Clock Road. It proceeds in the

north-to-south direction, passing Door No. 9-1-4, up to Door

No. 8-1-144. It then turns east near Door No. 8-1-140 and

continues south along Parvathamma Layout Road up to Door

No. 8-1-143/5-3 (opposite Azad Urdu School). From there, it

turns east and enters Venkateshwara Manyam, following its

boundary. It continues along the boundary lines of Survey No.

274, then proceeds south along the western boundary of

Survey No. 275. Thereafter, it turns west along the eastern

boundaries of Survey Nos. 276 and 277, and finally ends at

the tri-junction point of Survey Nos. 277, 278, and NH

544DD.

WARD NO.23

North:

The boundary line starts at Vinayaka Circle at Door No. 8-3-

378 and proceeds in the west-to-east direction, passing Door

No. 8-3-389 (midpoint), and ends at Door No. 8-3-394,

located at the Tower Clock–Ananthapur Road junction.

East:

The boundary line starts at Door No. 8-3-394, at the Tower

Clock–Ananthapur Road junction, and proceeds in the north-

to-south direction, passing the Anna Canteen, and ends at

Door No. 8-1-144. From there, it turns east along Duggilamma

Road, then diverts at Door No. 8-1-140 into Parvathamma

Layout Road, and continues south up to Azad Urdu School. It

then enters Venkateshwara Manyam and follows its boundary

up to its end. Thereafter, it turns east along the southern

boundary of Venkateshwara Manyam and passes along the

eastern side of Survey Nos. 276 and 277. It then diverts north

along Survey Nos. 391, 390, and 388, and subsequently turns

south along the eastern boundaries of Survey Nos. 388, 387,

and 386. The line continues along the midlines of Survey Nos.

378, 377, 425, and 426, and further along the eastern

boundaries of Survey Nos. 434 and 435, finally ending at the

junction of Survey Nos. 435 and 436.

South:

The boundary line starts at the junction of Survey Nos. 23 and

15 (Gala Gala Road) and proceeds in the east direction along

the southern boundaries of Survey Nos. 23, 24, 25 (Hill), 26,

27, 28, and 38. It then crosses the B.T.P. Road at the junction

of Survey Nos. 38 and 436, and continues along the southern

side of Survey No. 436, ending at the midpoint on the

southern boundary of the same survey number.

West:

The boundary line starts at Vinayaka Circle at Door No. 8-3-

378 and proceeds in the north-to-south direction up to Door

No. 8-3-347. It then turns west along Teru Bazaar Road up to

opposite Fort Gate (Door No. 8-1-83/11). From there, it

proceeds south along B.T.P. Road, passing a church at the

midpoint, and continues to cross NH 544DD near the Bharat

Petrol Bunk. It then continues along B.T.P. Road up to the

railway line, where it turns and follows the railway track,

passing through Survey Nos. 43, 414, 412, 413, 116, and 50.

Thereafter, it diverts south along Gala Gala Road, following

the southern boundary of Survey No. 50, and continues up to

the junction of Survey Nos. 15 and 23 (end point).

WARD NO.24

North:

The boundary line starts at the triangular junction formed by

Molakalmuru Road and B.T.P. Road.

East:

The boundary line starts at Door No. 7-4-515 (Ambedkar

Colony) and proceeds in the north-to-south direction along

B.T.P. Road, passing Door No. 7-4-588/2 (midpoint), and

ends at Door No. 7-5-649.

South:

The boundary line starts at Door No. 7-4-494/2 (Vidyarthi

English Medium School), located at the junction of

Molakalmuru Road and the school road. It proceeds east,

passing through Ambedkar Colony at Door No. 7-5-608, then

continues south from Door Nos. 7-5-608 to 7-5-614. From

there, it turns east, passes the midpoint at Door No. 7-5-649/1,

and ends at Door No. 7-5-649 (B.T.P. Road junction).

West:

The boundary line starts at Door No. 7-4-511 (Ambedkar

Colony) and proceeds in the north-to-south direction along

Molakalmuru Road, ending at Door No. 7-4-494/2 (Vidyarthi

English Medium School).

WARD NO.25

North:

The boundary line starts at the Rayadurg Municipality limits

at the junction near Gali Maremma Temple on the Andhra

Pradesh–Karnataka State boundary, meeting at the tri-junction

point of Survey No. 01. From there, it proceeds east along

Molakalmuru Road, then turns north along the western

boundary of the Paithota area. It continues along the

boundaries of Survey Nos. 66 and 67, then turns east, passing

through Survey Nos. 67, 69, 70, 93, 96, 97, and 88. Thereafter,

it proceeds north along the western side of Survey No. 461,

then turns east along the northern boundary of Survey No.

461, and further turns south to meet Molakalmuru Road. It

continues along Molakalmuru Road up to Door No. 7-4-494/2

(Vidyarthi English Medium School). From there, it turns east

along the boundary of Ambedkar Colony, reaching Door No.

7-5-608, then proceeds south, and further turns east at Door

No. 7-5-614, finally ending at Door No. 7-5-649 on

Molakalmuru Road.

East:

The boundary line starts at Door No. 7-5-677 (Ambedkar

Colony) on B.T.P. Road and proceeds in the north-to-south

direction along B.T.P. Road. It continues along the same

alignment, crossing NH 544DD near the Bharat Petrol Bunk,

and proceeds up to the railway line. From there, it turns and

follows the railway track, passing through Survey Nos. 43,

414, 412, 413, 116, and 50. It then diverts south along Gala

Gala Road, following the southern boundary of Survey No.

50, and continues up to the junction of Survey Nos. 15 and 23

(end point).

South:

The boundary line starts at the Rayadurg Municipality limits

on the Andhra Pradesh–Karnataka State boundary. It proceeds

east along the southern forest boundary and the municipal

boundary line, and ends at the junction of Survey Nos. 15 and

23 at Gala Gala Road.

West:

The boundary line starts at the Rayadurg Municipality limits

near Gali Maremma Temple on the Andhra Pradesh–

Karnataka State boundary, at the tri-junction point of Survey

No. 01. From there, it proceeds in the north-to-south direction

along the municipal boundary line and ends at the south-west

corner of Survey No. 01 (end of municipal limits).

WARD NO.26

North:

The boundary line starts from the foothill and proceeds in the

eastern direction up to Door No. 6-2-200/16-5. It then takes a

turn towards the south up to Door No. 6-2-200/16-11, and

thereafter turns eastward up to Door No. 6-2-200/18-A. From

there, it turns towards the south and runs parallel to the

western boundary of the Fire Station, eventually meeting Kota

Maremma Temple Road. The boundary then continues

running parallel to Kota Maremma Temple Road and

terminates at Kota Maremma Temple (end point).

East:

The boundary line starts at Kota Maremma Temple and

proceeds south, passing through Door No. 7-3-370. It then

turns east at Door No. 7-3-314, continues south up to Door

No. 7-3-307, and thereafter turns east again, ending at Door

No. 7-2-296 on Molakalmuru Road.

South:

The boundary line starts at Door No. 7-2-296 (Molakalmuru

Road) and proceeds along Molakalmuru Road, passing

Anjaneya Swami Temple at the midpoint, and continues along

the same alignment, ending at the south-east corner of Survey

No. 98.

West:

The boundary line starts from Molakalmuru Road, turns near

Survey No. 98, and proceeds through the hill area, following

the alignment up to Survey No. 461 (north point), where it

located on the western side of Survey No. 129. It proceeds

along the hill alignment covering the southern portions of

140, 141, 142, and 143. It then turns south and follows the

alignment along the western portions of Survey Nos. 144, 228,

229, and 230. Thereafter, it turns east near Venkateshwara

East:

in the north-to-south direction, passing Door No. 5-1-15/1. It

then turns west towards Door No. 6-1-61, turns north towards

Door No. 6-2-195/2, and ends on the eastern side of the Fire

Station.

South:

The boundary line starts at the junction of Survey Nos. 67 and

68 and proceeds eastward along the northern boundaries of

Survey Nos. 68, 69, 70, 93, 96, 97, and 467. It then turns

northward along the eastern side of Etlam Cheruvu and

continues through the middle of the hill area situated on the

southern side of Survey Nos. 450 and 451. Thereafter, it enters

to the road. It then turns northward and runs parallel to the

western boundary of the Fire Station, after which it turns

westward up to Door No. 6-2-200/16-11. From there, it takes a

West:

The boundary line starts at the Rayadurg Municipality limits

on the western side at the F-line point of Survey No. 128. It

proceeds along the Andhra Pradesh–Karnataka State boundary

at the hill and proceeds east direction up to the starting point
