preparedness, response and mitigation and in accordance with the provisions of the Disaster Management
Act, 2005, under which the Department of Disaster Management is mandated to coordinate, control and
manage emergency and civic response services during natural Disasters and unforseen calamities, it is
hereby notified that all vehicles pertaining to the Department of Disaster Management deployed for
field duties and as a part of the Incident Response System (IRS), both at the State and District Level,
shall be exempted from requisition by any other Department/Office/Agency.
These vehicles shall remain exclusively available for deployment by the Department of Disaster
Management to ensure uninterrupted and timely Disaster Management Operations.
All Departments and Authorities concerned are directed to strictly comply with the above instructions.
This notifications shall come into force with immediate effect.
