No. SEIAA-SEACArp (Env)-254/2025/6430-45.— WHEARES, the Ministry of Environment, Forest and
Climate Change, Government of India, has constituted two statutory bodies under provision of the Environment
(Protection) Act, 1986 namely: The State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA) and the State
Expert Appraisal Committee (SEAC) for the purpose of appraisal and processing of Environment Clearance
for Category ‘B’ projects and activities in the State vide No. S.O. 515 (E) dated 28th January, 2025.
AND WHEARES, Clause 11 and Clause 12 of the said Notification stipulate that the State Government
shall specify an agency to act as the Secretariat for the Authority and the Committee and that Secretariat
shall provide financial and logistic support including accommodation, transportation and such other facilities
for their effective functioning.
WHEARES, the State Government of Arunachal Pradesh vide No. for (Env) 18/2006/ELA-Part (1)/2878
Dated 4th March, 2025 has notified the Office of Director Environment to act as Secretariat for the effective
functioning of SEIAA and SEAC for its statutory duties.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh is pleased to notify following Honorarium and
Sitting Fees for the Chairman and Members of the above -mentioned statutory bodies.
