The appointee shall be on probation for a period of 2(two) years from the date of his/her joining,
after which his/her appointment will be confirmed subject to satisfactory completion of the period of
probation.

The appointment may be terminated at any time by a month’s notice given by either side viz., the
appointee or the appointing authority without assigning any reason. The appointing authority however,
reserves the right to terminate the service of the appointee forthwith or before the notice by making payment
to him/her of a sum equivalent to the pay and allowances for the period of notice or the expired portion
thereof.

If any declaration given or information furnished by the candidate proves to be false or if the
candidates are found to have willfully suppressed any material information, he/she shall be liable for removal
from service and such other action as Government deems necessary.
7.
The appointment will be further subject to :-
(i)
Production of Release Order/NOC from the previous employer (applicable in the case of
persons who are already in Government service) at the time of joining.
(ii)
Any training as and when assigned to him/her by the Government must be attended
without fail.
(iii)
Any extraneous pressure either for desired transfer/posting or cancellation of the transfer
order will be construed to be misconduct on the part of the officer.
(iv) Satisfactory Character and Antecedent Report/Police Verification from concerned
Deputy Commissioners/Superintendent of Police.
(v)
The other terms and conditions of service which are not specified herein shall be governed by
the relevant rules and orders in force from time to time.

4.
The appointees shall be liable to serve in any part of Arunachal Pradesh or outside where the Water
Resources Department has its organization, as decided by the Government from time to time in the
interest of public service.
5.
The candidates shall take an oath of allegiance to the Constitution of India and an oath under the
Official Secrets Act at the time of joining.
6.
The candidates shall furnish details of movable and immovable properties within four weeks from the
date of joining, along with details of their family members.
7.
The appointment shall be governed by relevant rules and orders issued by the Government of Arunachal
Pradesh from time to time.
8.
SC/ST candidates shall furnish certificates in the prescribed format to that effect.
9.
The appointment shall be subject to production of a Medical Fitness Certificate from a Medical Board.
10.
The candidate shall not have more than one spouse at any time during the service period.
11.
No TA/DA shall be admissible for joining the post at the place of posting.
12.
Confirmation shall be subject to satisfactory performance during the probation period, based on reports
from the concerned Controlling Officer.
13.
The candidates shall undergo induction training for a minimum period of 3 (three)months at the initial
stage of appointment.
14.
Any other terms and conditions not specified herein shall be governed by relevant rules and orders
issued by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh from time to time.
