The 6th February, 2026

No. DES-20014/1/2025-(DES).—“The House Listing Operations (HLO) of National Population Census, 2027

is scheduled to commence from 16th April, 2026. A mandatory provision of 15 (fifteen) days with effect

from 16th April, 2026 to 30th April, 2026, for Self-Enumeration, is required to be observed immediately

preceding the commencement of the HLO fieldwork. The actual fieldwork of the House Listing Operations

(HLO) in Arunachal Pradesh shall be conducted from 1st May, 2026 to 30th May, 2026.”
