No. HOME-12023(12)/6/2026-HM-SECTION-B-HM/410.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 6

of the Delhi Special Police Establishment Act, 1946 (25 of 1946), the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh is

pleased to accord consent to the extension of powers and jurisdiction of the members of the Delhi Special

Police Establishment (CBI) to the whole of the State of Arunachal Pradesh for conducting an inquiry/investigation

into the circumstances leading to the death of minor Robika Chakma.

The investigation shall specifically address the procedural lapses, failure to invoke child-specific laws

and any criminal accountability related to the incident occurred on 11th December, 2005 at Cheta-I, Roing,

Lower Dibang Valley.
