NOTIFICATION

No. HOME-11011(13)/57/2025/11063.—In exercise of the powers conferred under Rule 19 of the Arunachal

Pradesh Staff Selection Board Rules, 2018 and in consultation with the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection

Board and after due approval of the 6th (sixth) Meeting of the State Cabinet dated 14th May, 2026 under

Agenda Item No. 8, the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh is pleased to grant a one-time exemption from conduct

of PET/PST to those candidates who had already qualified the PET/PST and appeared in the written examination

held on 13th July, 2025 pursuant to Advertisement No. 09/2020 for Post Codes 65/20, 66/20 and 67/20

conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board for the posts of Constable (Civil Police, Arunachal

Armed Police Battalion and Indian Reserved Battalion), including Constable (Bugler/Band), to enable them to

appear for the corresponding constable vacancies in the ensuing examination/selection process.

This exemption is being granted as a one-time special measure purely in public interest. It shall not be

cited as a precedent for any future recruitment or selection process.
