CORRIGENDUM PRELIMINARY NOTIFICATION

The 8th June, 2026

(Issued Under Section 11(1) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land

Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013)

No. LMD-13011(14)/5/2024/470.—WHEREAS, the power and function of the appropeiate authority

under the Right of Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement

Act, 2013 vest in the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh which shall be exercise and discharged by him within

the State.

WHEREAS, the office has received a letter from the NHPC, Boasimla for requisition of land vide

letter No. NH/KHEP/Camp CO/2023/35 dated 20th December, 2023 NH/KHEP/HOP, SECTT./2024/97

dated 4th May, 2024 and NH/KHEP/HOP SECTT./2025/500-502 dated 25th April, 2025 foe acquisition of

land to an extent of 1915.0904 hectares (19150904 Sqmtr) accordingly preliminary Notification has been

issued vide Notification No. LMD-13011(14)5/2024/1504 dated 23rd September, 2025.

WHEREAS, a letter has been received from requiring body (NHPC by this office vide letter

No. NH/KHEP/HOP SECTT./2026/996 dated 28th April, 2026) Where in NHPC authority has requested to this

office for deduction of Land measuring 8.4 Hectares, from the notified areas of 1915.0904 hectares (19150904 Sqmtr).

In this regard it is to clarify that the actual land be re-notified under Section 11(1) Preliminary Notification of

the LARR Act, 2013 in respect of Land measuring 1906.6 hectares instead of land measuring 1915.0904

hectares repeat 1906.6 hectares (19150904 Sqmtr) for execution of Kamala Hydro Electric Power Project

(1720 MW) in Arunachal Pradesh under Kamporijo and the Raga Circles of Kamle District, Arunachal Pradesh.
