PRELIMINARY NOTIFICATION
The 18th June, 2026
(Issued Under Section 11(1) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land
Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013)
No. LMD-13011/17/2026.—WHEREAS, the power and function of the appropriate authority under
the Right of Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement
Act, 2013 vested in the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh which shall be exercise and discharged by him
within the State.
WHEREAS, the requiring agency Indian Army has sent a requisition vide No AC/KOJIN NALA/ACQ/
PROP/VOL-III/93 dated 22nd April, 2026 for acquisition of land to an extent of 66.649 Hectares (666488.855 Sqm)
for establishing forward logistic area and administrative detachments of Indian Army purpose.
WHEREAS, it appears to the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh that land is likely to be needed at the
locality more fully described in the schedule below for establishing forward logistic area and administrative
detachments of Indian Army purpose for an area measuring 66.649 Hectares (666488.855 Sqm) located at
Nacho - I, Gangba (Nacho), Limeking (Yapong Yalong), Redi, Redi Helipad, Orak (Pocket - A) and Orak
(Pocket - B) area under Nacho and Limeking Circles of Upper Subansiri District, Arunachal Pradesh. It is
hereby notified that land in the locality/localities in the schedule below is likely to be acquired for the above
said purpose at expense of requiring body. Further, the Deputy Commissioner, Upper Subansiri
District, Daporijo vide his letter No. LM/DRJ-83/N&O/LA/2022/230 dated 15th June, 2026 has certified
that the land proposed for acquisition of land for establishing forward logistic area and administrative
detachments of Indian Army for an area measuring 66.649 Hectares (666488.855 Sqm) is a private
land free from Public and Government projects and there is no project affected families.
NOW THEREFORE, this notification is made under the provisions of Section - 11(1) of the Right of
Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 and
to all whomsoever it may concern.
The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh hereby also authorises the officers and officials for the time being
engaged for the said purpose with their servant and workmen to enter upon and survey any land and to
do all other acts in pursuance of the provision of Section 12 of the above said act.
Under Section 11(4) of the Act, no person shall make any transaction or cause any transaction of
land i.e. sale/purchase/gift, specified in the preliminary notification or create any encumbrances on such
land from the date of publication of this notification without prior approval of the collector.
Any person interest in the said land and whomsoever has any objection to the acquisition of the
said land, may within 30 (thirty) days from the date of publication of the notification provided under
Section 15 of the act, file such objection in writing before the Deputy Commissioner Daporijo,
Upper Subansiri District, Arunachal Pradesh.
The plan of the land may be inspected at the land management branch Deputy Commissioner Office,
Daporijo.
