PRELIMINARY NOTIFICATION

The 18th June, 2026

(Issued under the provision of Section 11 (1) of the Right to Fair Compensation and

Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013)

No. LMD-13011/11//15/2026/599.—WHEREAS, the power and functions of the appropriate authority under

the Right of Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement

Act, 2013 vest in the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh which shall be exercised and discharged by him within

the State.

WHEREAS, the Commandant 10th BN ITB Police has sent a requisition vide No. ITBP/10th Bn/Engr/

Gelemo Land/2025-130 dated 15th April, 2026 for acquisition of land to an extent of 16187.426 square metres

for establishment of Gelemo BoP 10th ITBP at Gelemo under Limeking Circle.

WHEREAS, It appears to the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh that the land is likely to be needed at the

locality more fully described in the schedule below for establishment of Gelemo BoP 10th ITBP at Gelemo

under Limeking Circle16187.426 sqm in Upper Subansiri District, It is hereby notified that land in the locality

in the schedule below is likely to be acquired for the above said purpose at expense of requiring body.

Further, the Deputy Commissioner, Upper Subansiri District, Daporijo vide his letter No. LM/DRJ-69/

2025 (Pt-III)/216 dated 12th June, 2026 has certified that the land proposed for establishment of

Gelemo BoP ITBP at Gelemo under Limeking Circle of Upper Subansiri District is a private land and

free from Public and Government projects and there is no project affected families.

NOW THEREFORE, this notification is made under the provision of Section 11(1) of the Right to Fair

Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 and to all

whomsoever it may concerned.

The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh hereby authorizes the officers and officials for the time being engaged

for the said purpose with their servant and workman to enter upon and survey any land and to do all other acts

in pursuance of the provisions of Section-12 of the Act.

Under Section - 11 (4) of the Act, no person shall make any transaction or cause any transaction of land

i.e., sale/purchase/gift, specified in the preliminary notification or create any encumbrances on such land

from the date of publication of this notification without prior approval of the collector.

Any person interested in the said land and whosoever has any objection to the acquisition of the said

land, may within 30 (thirty) days from the date of publication of this notification as provided under Section-15

of the Act, file such objection in writing before the Deputy Commissioner, Upper Subansiri District, Daporijo,

Arunachal Pradesh.

The plan of the land may be inspected at the Land Management Branch, DC’s Office,
