No. LAB (W)(OSH&WC-2020)06/2026/742.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4 of the

Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code 2020 (No. 37 of 2020) and in supersession of this

department’s earlier notification No. LAB (LAW) 159/93/3 dated 22nd June, 1994, under the Contract Labour

(Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970 and No. LAB (LAW) 158/93/3 dated 24th May, 1994, under the Inter-State

Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1979 and No. LAB(W) 131/2005

dated 26th April, 2005, under the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and

Conditions of Service) Act, 1996, the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh is pleased to nominate the Secretary

(Labour), Government of Arunachal Pradesh, Itanagar as APPELLATE OFFICER to hear and dispose of

any appeal preferred by any person under Section 4 for the purposes of Chapter – II of the said Code.

This order shall come into force with immediate effect.
