NOTIFICATION

The 23rd June, 2026

No. DULB-14017/8/2025/491-502.— WHEREAS, the Government of Arunachal Pradesh has adopted

the Telecommunications (Rights of Way) Rules, 2024 notified by the Government of India under the

Telecommunications Act, 2023 vide Order No. DITC-14/0/2022 dated 7th March, 2025;

AND WHEREAS, the Departments of Information Technology and Communications, Government of

Arunachal Pradesh has requested implementations of the said Rules by the Urban Local Bodies for facilitating

implementation of the Right of Way (RoW) framework;

NOW, THEREFORE, the Government of Arunachal Pradesh is pleased to notify that all Urban Local

Bodies in the State shall implement and process applications relating to telecommunications infrastructure

strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Telecommunications (Rights of Way) Rules, 2024, as adopted

by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh.

This Notifications shall come into force with immediate effect.

This is issued with the approval of the competent authority.
