CORRIGENDUM

The 7th April, 2026

(Under Section (19) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in

Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013)

No. LMD-13011(11)/22/2025.—WHEREAS, it appears to the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh that a

total 34.019 Hectares (Including muck disposal) of land is required at Gelling-Bishing under Gelling

Circle, Upper Siang District for public purposes for Construction of Single Road from design chainage

KM 0+00 to KM 13+00.

AND WHEREAS, a preliminary notification as required under Section 11 of LARR Act, 2013 was

issued by the Department of Land Management vide Memo No. LMD-13011(11)/11/22/2025/1891

Dated Itanagar, the 6th November, 2025, notifying the intention of the state Government for

acquiring of 34.019 Hectares (Including Muck Disposal) and vide Declaration under Section (19) issued vide

letter No. LMD-13011(11/22/2025/1735 dated 11th March, 2026. In the first paragraph of the Declaration, the

land area has been mentioned as 41.02 Hectares insteaed of the correct area of 34.019 Hectares due to a

clerical error of the said land and inviting public claims and objections to the proposed acquisition of land if any.

AND WHEREAS, the Deputy Commissioner, Upper Siang District, vide his Memo No. Nil Dated Nil,

certified that land is a private land and free from public and Government projects and that there are no project

affected families and therefore no compensation towards Rehabilitation and Resettlement are required to be

paid under Section 31 of the LARR Act, and has requested the State Government to issue the draft declaration

under Section 19 of the LARR Act, 2013.

AND WHEREAS, The Appropriate Government is pleased to note that it is satisfied that Chapter -II and

III and Section 15 and16 shall not apply to acquisition process in respect of the said land Acquisition proceeding.

AND NOW, therefore the Government of Arunachal Pradesh is pleased to issue the Declaration under

Section 19 of the Act specifying that the piece of land measuring 34.019 Hectares (Including Muck Disposal)

located in Gelling-Bishing under Gelling Circle, Upper Siang District is being acquired, the detailed description

whereof is as follows:-

The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh is further pleased to order as under.

1.

The except such parts of the mines and mineral which may be required to be dug or remove or

used during construction phase of the project for the purpose of which land is being acquired,

no mines, mineral, iron, stone, slate and others minerals lying under the said land shall be extracted

or removed.

2.

A plan of the land may be inspected in the office of the collector and DLRSO, Upper Siang District

on any working day during the working hours.
