DECLARATION

The 6th July, 2026

(Under Section (19) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in

Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013)

No. LMD-13011/21/2025/738.—WHEREAS, it appears to the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh that a

total of 2.807 Acres (11360 sqmtrs) of additional land is required at Shergaon Village (Sein Thuk), under

Rupa Sub-Division of West Kameng District for establishment of Headquarter of 73rd Bn SSB.

AND WHEREAS, a preliminary notification as required under Section 11 (1)of LARR Act, 2013 was

issued by the Department of Land Management vide Memo No. LMD-13011/21/2025/1265

dated Itanagar, the 27th August, 2025, notifying the intention of the State Government for

acquiring of 2.807 acres of the said land inviting public claims and objections to the proposed acquisition of

land if any.

AND WHEREAS, the Circle Officer, Shergaon, West Kameng District, vide Memo No. WKD/SGN-21/2021

dated 14th March, 2024 certified that land is private land and free from public and Government Projects and

that there is no project affected families and therefore no compensation towards Rehabilitation and Resettlement

are required to be paid under Section 31 of the LARR Act and has requested the State Government to issue

the draft declaration under Section 19 of the LARR Act, 2013.

AND WHEREAS, the appropriate Government is pleased to note that it is satisfied that Chapter -II and III

and Section 15 and16 shall not apply to acquisition process in respect of the said Land of 2.807 Acres for

establishment of Headquarter of 73rd Bn SSB.

NOW, therefore, the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh is pleased to issue the Declaration under Section 19 of

the Act specifying that the piece of land measuring 2.807 acres located in Shergaon Village, Under

Rupa Sub-Division being acquired, the detailed description whereof is as follows:-

The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh is further pleased to order as under:-

(i)

Except such parts of the mines and minerals which may be required to be dug or removed or used

during the construction phase of the project for the purpose of which land is being acquired, no mines,

iron, stone, slate and other minerals lying under the said land shall be extracted or removed.

(ii)

A plan of the land may be inspected in the office of the Collector and DLRSO, West Kameng District

on any working day during the working hours.
