NOTIFICATION

The 24th August, 2026

Extension of Preliminary Notification issued under Section 11(1) Read with

Section 19(7) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition,

Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013

No. LMD-13011(11)/7/2025/1122.—WHEREAS, the Preliminary Notification Under Section 11(1) of the

Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013

was issued vide No. LMD-13011(11)/7/2025/274 dated Itanagar, the 6th May, 2025 for acquisition of percel

of lands measuring 26.46 Hectare (2,64,600 sqmtr) in Wakka, Chongkhaw, Kampong and Chop Villages

of Wakka Circle, Wakka Taluk/Sub-Division/Tehsil/Block, Longding District for public purpose namely

construction of approach Roads and Hybrid Surveillance System fencing along the Indo-Myanmar Border

by the 103 RCC (GREF), Pin - 930103, C/o - 99 APO (requiring agency).

AND WHEREAS, the Deputy Commissioner Longding vide his letter No. LM/GREF-I(Vol-IV)/BP-159/2025/

5264-68, dated Longding the 6th July, 2026 has requested with reasons to extend the period and circumstances

existed for the inadvertent delay.

AND WHEREAS, as per sub-section(7) of Section 19 of the Act, where no declaration is made under

sub-section(1) of Section 19 within twelve months from the date of preliminary notification, then such

notification shall be deem to have rescinded. The second provision to sub-section (7) of Section 19 provides

that the appropriate Government shall have the power to extend the period of twelve months, if in its opinion

circumstances exist justifying the same.

NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the power conferred under sub-section (7) of the Section 19 of the

Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013

(30 of 2013), the Government of Arunachal Pradesh do hereby extend the twelve months period of preliminary

notification issued vide this office notification No. LMD-13011(11)/7/2025/274 dated Itanagar,

the 6th May, 2025.
