NOTIFICATION

The 1st September, 2026

No. HOME-11011/6/2026/385.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the

Constitution of India and in pursuance of the approval of the State Cabinet conveyed vide Cabinet Decision on

Agenda Item No. 2 dated 13th August, 2026, the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh is pleased to grant, as a

one-time special measure in public interest, relaxation of the provisions of the Scientist-B (Scientific Officer),

Group - ‘A’ Gazetted, Directorate of Forensic Science Recruitment Rules, 2025, to enable absorption of the

following officials against the respective posts under the Directorate of Forensic Science, Police Training

Centre (PTC), Banderdewa :

The above absorption shall take effect from the date of issue of this Notification.

The absorbed officers shall draw pay and allowances in Level -10 of the Pay Matrix and other admissible

allowances as applicable to the Post of Scientist - B under the Directorate of Forensic Science, in accordance

with the applicable rules and orders issued by the Government from time to time.

The relaxation is granted only in respect of the above-mentioned officials considering the absence of

eligible Scientific Assistants in the relevant disciplines, their prescribed educational qualifications, specialized

forensic training, experience and the operational requirement of the Directorate of Forensic Science for the

effective implementation of the New Criminal Laws.

The relaxation is purely a one-time special measure, shall not be treated as precedent and shall not

confer any right or entitlement for similar relaxation in future cases.
