The 17th December, 2016

No. RLA.300/2013/149.- In exercise of the powers conferred under sub section

(1) of section 44 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition,

Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, the Governor of Assam is pleased to appoint the

Commissioner & Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Revenue & Disaster Management

Department, as the Commissioner, Rehabilitation and Resettlement.

He shall be responsible for carrying out the duties & functions as provided

under the Act and under the Assam Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land

Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Rules, 2015 framed under the Act.
