No. PLA. 25/2016/24 .- The Governor of Assam is pleased to constitute a One man Enquiry

Committee headed by Shri Ajay Shankar Tewari, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Govt. of Assam Higher

Education Department to enquire into the circumstances leading to the death two youths of Mizo origin

(Shri C. Lalhmangaihsanga & Shri R. Lalmalsawma), both students of Down Town University, Guwahati,

Assam, near Panikhaiti Out Post near Railway track on 28/05/2017.

He will enquire into the details of the circumstances and causes leading to the death of the two

students and will suggest suitable measures to avoid recurrence of such incidents in future.

The enquiry report is to be submitted within 1 (one) month from the date of issue of this order.
