NOTIFICATION

The 27th June, 2017

No. GLR. 71/2016/C/51.– As per Business Reforms Action Plan 2017, recommended by DIPP,

Govt. of India, The Governor of Assam is pleased to revise the time period of online submission of Inspection

Report by the inspecting officers under the Factory Inspectorate, Assam, to the Chief Inspector of Factories,

Assam to 24 (twenty four) hours from the date of inspection instead of 48 (forty eight) hours which was

notified earlier vide this Department's notification No. GLR. 71/2016/C/49 dated 16-10-2016.

Further, it is notified that the directions of the respective departmental online inspection schemes will

be adhered to by the inspecting officers.

Apparently, the above mentioned subject doesn't involve amendment in any related Rules/Acts. If it

is observed in future that, amendment of any Acts or Rules is required to give effect to the notification, it

will be done accordingly. The notification will be modified/cancelled accordingly.

This notification will come into force with immediate effect.
