No. GSAG/GOV/OATH/2017.- Whereas, in exercise of powers under Article 155

and Article 160 of the Constitution of India, the President of India has been pleased to appoint

Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, to discharge the functions of Governor of Assam, it is hereby notified

that Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, on this 10th day of October (18th Asvina 1939 Saka) has taken

upon himself to the discharge of the functions of the Governor of Assam.
