The 6th January, 2018

No.TSM.55/2016/171.- The Governor of Assam is pleased to notify the Tourism

Policy of Assam 2017 and it will be published in Assam Gazette (Extraordinary) and this

policy will come into force with effect from 1st January, 2018 and will be valid upto 31st

December, 2022. The Government also reserves the right to make any amendment of the

policy from time to time.
