No. AR.08/2023/10.- In the interest of public service, the Governor of Assam is

pleased to rename the existing (a) Tea Tribes Welfare Department as "Tea Tribes and

Adivasi Welfare Department" and (b) the Directorate of Tea Tribes Welfare as

"Directorate of Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare".

This notification will come into force with immediate effect.
