No. GSAG/OATH/1/2024/16 .- Whereas, in exercise of powers under Article 155 and

Article 160 of the Constitution of India, the President of India has been pleased to appoint Shri

Lakshman Prasad Acharya to discharge the functions of the Governor of Assam, it is hereby notified

that Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya has, on this the 30^th day of July 2024 (8^th Shravana 1946 Saka),

taken upon himself the charge of the functions of the Governor of Assam.
