ASSAM STATE ELECTION COMMISSION
NOTIFICATION
The 7th March, 2025
No. SEC. 13/2025/6.- Whereas the Governor of Assam notified vide No. E-582139/176 dated
25th January 2025, the Assam State Election Commission as the Authority and entrust the Assam
State Election Commission with the mandate of Superintendence, direction and control of preparation
of electoral Rolls for, and conduct of Elections to Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council;
And whereas reservation of seats for women in the Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council has
been notified vide Notification No. E-582139/l75 dated 21st February 2025;
And whereas the final electoral rolls for the 36(thirty-six) General Council Constituencies of
the Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council have been duly published on 2nd March 2025;
Now, therefore, in pursuance of Rule 17(1) and Rule 18 of the Rabha Hasong Autonomous
Council (Election) Rules 2005, the Assam State Election Commission hereby notifies upon each of
36(thirty-six) no.s of General Council Constituencies of the Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council
as specified at Para A at next page to elect members of the Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council in
the State of Assam in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and Rules and orders made
thereunder.
The schedule for the aforementioned Election is hereby notified as per Para B, on page no. 3.
The Returning Officers already appointed to conduct the elections shall forthwith publish a
Public Notice of Election in accordance with Rule 19 of the Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council
(Election) Rules, 2005 on the same day as the issuance of this Notification.
