Tenancy Case No. 42/2025

Tenancy Case No. 42/2025.- Whereas the tenants named below have been found entitled to

acquire ownership rights/intermediary rights of his/their landlords under Section 21 of the Assam

Intermediary Rights (Temporarily Settled Areas) Tenancy Act, 1971 (Assam Act. XXIII of 1971).

And whereas the said tenants have applied and deposited the compensation under sub-section

(1) of Section 23/(2) of Section 23 of the aforesaid Act.

Now, therefore in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1)/sub-section (2) of Section

23 of the said Act, it is hereby declared that the tenants named in column (1) of the scheduled below

have acquired the ownership rights/intermediary rights of the landlord's mentioned in column (2) of

the schedule free from all encumbrance with effect from 22nd January, 2026.
