No. ECF-708361/18.- In continuation of Govt. Notification No. ECF-708361/16 dated

24-03-2026, the Governor of Assam is pleased to extend the term of the One Man Inquiry Commission

headed by Hon'ble Mr. Justice Soumitra Saikia, Judge, Gauhati High Court to inquire in to the facts

and circumstances leading to the unfortunate death of Late Zubeen Garg in Sigapore on the 19th of

September, 2025 for a further period of 03 (three) months w.e.f. 04/07/2026 or till the submission of

its report, whichever is earlier.
