No. 219078/679.- The follwoing darft of the Assam Legal Metrology (Government Approved
Test Centre) Rules, 2026 which the Governor of Assam proposes to make in exercise of the powers
conferred by clause (e) of sub-section (2) of section 53 of the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 (Central Act 1
of 2010) is hereby published as required under sub-section (4) of section 53 of the said Act, for the
information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft rules
shall be taken into consideration after the expiry of thirty (30) days from the date of its publication of this
notification in the Official Gazette.
