Chairman, PCBA and in compliance of Hon'ble Supreme Court's Judgment dated 22nd September, 2017

passed in CA No. 1359 of 2017, the Governor of Assam is pleased to appoint Dr. Arup Kumar Misra as

Chairman, Pollution Control Board, Assam in terms of the provisions made under Rule 20(A) of the Water

(Prevention and Control of Pollution) Assam (Amendment) Rules, 2021 and Rule 3(A) of the Air (Prevention

and Control of Pollution) Assam (Amendment) Rules, 2021, for a term of 3(three) years with effect from the

date of taking over charge.

publication of the notification.

If no objection is received within the stipulated time, the gradation list so published herewith shall be

treated as final.
