Schedule below between the Management of Doyang Tea Estate, P.O.-Furkating, Golaghat, Assam-Vs-the

workman Smti. Banarashi Rabidas, Doyang Tea Estate, P.O.-Furkating, Golaghat, Assam.

In whereas it is considered expedient by the Government of Assam to refer the dispute for adjudication

to Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal, Dibrugarh, constituted under Section 7-A of the Industrial Disputes

Act, 1947 (Act XIV of 1947).

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (c) Sub-Section (1) of Section 10 of

the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (Act-XIV of 1947) as amended the Governor of Assam is pleased to refer

Whereas the society has ceased functioning since long and the members have not taken step for its

Governor of Assam is pleased to demarcate the Ulukunchi PHE Sub-Division and Amtereng PHE Sub-

Division under the newly created Ulukunchi PHE Division which shall comprise as follows -

Amtereng PHE Sub-Division with Head Quarter at Amtereng shall have an administrative

jurisdiction covering the whole areas of Duaramla GP/MAC constituency under KAAC and

whole area of Lower Chinthong upto Rongjangphong of Chinthong GP/ MAC constituency.

Moreover, the respective staffs and officials shall also come under the jurisdiction of Amtereng

PHE Sub-Division and thereby under Ulukunchi PHE Division.

Ulukunchi PHE Sub-Division which is under Hamren PHE Division at present shall be henceforth

transferred along with all the Technical & Non-technical Officials and materials to Ulukunchi

PHE Division with new Head Quarter at Umlapher and the administrative jurisdiction shall

cover the whole area of Amri GP/MAC Constituency under KAAC and whole area of Upper

Chinthong upto Rongjangphong of Chinthong GP/ MAC constituency.

255 Villages under Amri GP/MAC area, Duaramla GP/MAC area and Chinthong GP/MAC

area henceforth shall be under Ulukunchi PHE Division and the same shall be segregated and

included in the IMIS Portal for Ulukunchi Division.

10th January, 2022 dispute between the management of Brahmaputra Harley Davidson, N/H, 37, near

Sarusajai Stadium, Garalia, Guwahati-34 -VS- Shri Nilotpal Kalita, Ward No.3 Tihu Town, District: Nalbari,

Assam was referred to the Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal, Guwahati constituted under the Industrial

Dispute Act, 1947 for adjudication and whereas an Award has given on the dispute by the said Industrial

Tribunal, Guwahati in Reference Case No. 2/2022.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 17(1) of the Industrial Disputes Act,

No. PHED.15/2022/33.- Ministry of Jal Shakti launched a campaign "Catch the Rain" with the tag

line "Catch the rain, where it falls, when it falls" in 2020 to nudge the states and all stakeholders to create

Rain Water Harvesting Structures (RWHS) suitable to the climatic conditions and sub-soil strata, with people's

active participation. Under this campaign, drives to make check dams, water harvesting pits, rooftop RWHS

etc; removal of encroachments and de-silting of tanks to increase their storage capacity; removal of obstructions

in the channels which bring water to them from the catchment areas etc; repairs to step-wells and using

defunct bore-wells and unused wells to put water back to aquifers, watershed development, rejuvenation of

small rivers and rivulets, revival of wetlands and protection of flood banks, springshed development, protection

of water catchment areas, intensive afforestation, setting up of Jal Shakti Kendras (JSK) in all districts etc.,

are to be taken up with the active participation of people.

In order to make this campaign successful, the Governor of Assam is pleased to constitute a Co-

ordination. Committee with the Senior Most Secretaries of the following departments who are identified as

stakeholder in implementation of the campaign.

No. FRE.18/2016/Pt/24.- Whereas, Sri Kadam Suhas Tarachand, IFS, then Divisional Forest

Officer, Haltugaon Division, Kokrajhar , was placed under suspension and a show cause notice was issued

to him vide No.FRE.183/2016/Pt/19, dated 4th February, 2022, for his unauthorized absence from office

HQ for 2 (two) days w.e.f. 6th December, 2021 to 7th December, 2021 on the date of Hon'ble CM's visit

and pendency of files.

And whereas, the order of suspension was revoked vide order No FRE.l83/2016/102, dated 18th

February, 2022 by the competent authority and whereas, Sri Kadam Suhas Tarachand , IFS, submitted his

reply that verbal permission of the Head of the Forest Division, Bodoland Territorial Council was obtained

before proceeding on leave and that the disposal of files was not deliberately delayed and was cleared.

Therefore, upon perusal of all records and written submission, the explanation submitted by Sri

Kadam Suhas Tarachand , IFS , then Divisional Forest Officer, Haltugaon, Kokrajhar is accepted and the

matter closed .
