No. PRD-12/97/2022-PRD (B)/311.- As per recommendation of the Assam Public Service
Commission Communicated vide letter No. 49PSC/CON/Exam-02/2020-2021 dated 3rd June, 2022 and
in the interest of Public Service, Jer Mahammad Ali, (Roll No. 30003), Vill.-Pakhimoria Gaon, P.O.-
Pathori, Dist.-Nagaon, P.S.-Sadar, Gaon Panchayat (G.P)-Pakhimoria G.P., Assam, Pin-782003 is
appointed temporarily as Junior Engineer under Panchayat and Rural Development Department and posted
in Zamadarhat Development Block, Dhubri against vacant post under Rule 6(1) of "The Assam Panchayat
and Rural Development Officers (Technical) Service Rules, 2015" under Panchayat and Rural Development
Department in the Scale of pay Rs. 14,000/- to 70,000/-; PB-2 with Grade Pay of Rs. 8,700/- plus other
allowances as admissible under Rules of the Government of Assam.
The service shall be governed by the "New Defined Contribution Pension Scheme", 2009 issued
vide Finance Deptt's O.M. BW.7/2008/pt/40 dated 6th October, 2009.
The service is transferable and the incumbent is liable to be posted anywhere as Junior Engineer
within the State of Assam.
The incumbent posted in the Development Block will submit joining report to the respective Block
Development Officer within 15 (fifteen) days invariably from the date of issue of this order with copies to the
undersigned and concerned Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad/Project Director, DRDA.
No T.A. / D.A. for joining in the new assignment is admissible.
The inter-se-seniority will be fixed as per recommendation of the Assam Public Service Commission
and other existing rules in force.
If the candidate or anyone of his/her family member has been enjoying the benefit under "Orunodoi"
Scheme they have to surrender the benefit of the Scheme by giving an undertaking as per prescribed format
at the time of joining.
However, this appointment is conditional and subject to outcome of the WP(C) No. 6305/2022

application received after last date will not be accepted. Any postal delay after last date of
receipt of application will not be accepted.

Reservation of 30% for women will be kept as per provision out of the total post as per the
Assam women Reservation of vacancies in services & posts (Amendment) Act, 2010.
9.
The candidates whose applications are accepted as per eligible criteria will be required to
appear in a Written Examination. The written examination will be of 100 Marks and duration
will be 3 hours.
10.
The date of written examination will be notified later on and will be published in the notice
Boards of Deputy Commissioner’s office, Bajali. The written examination comprises the

The shortlisted candidates through written examination will have to appear in a Hands-on
Computer Proficiency Test (Practical) 25 marks. The list of the shortlisted candidates and
the date of the test will be published in the notice Board of Deputy Commissioner’s office,
Bajali and also through email id of the candidates.
12.
The selection shall be strictly on Merit.
13.
If any information declared by the candidates is found false at any stage, the candidature
will be cancelled.
14.
CANVASSING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY SHALL DISQUALIFY A CANDIDATE.
15.
No TA/DA shall be admissible for appearing in written test/computer test.
16.
The Selection Committee already constituted to select the candidates for aforesaid posts
has the right to accept/reject the candidature after proper scrutiny of documents/testimonials,
etc., with regard to the modalities of selection. The decision of the Selection Committee
shall be final and binding.
17.
The selection candidates will have to submit an undertaking to the Appointing Authority
that he/she will abide by the New Pension Scheme of the Government issued vide Finance
Department letter No. BW.3/03/Part-l/l dated 25th January, 2005.
