Assam State Ground Water Authority (ASGWA) shall exercise the powers conferred

Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson or any Member of any Development Board or may dissolve the

Development Board or may reconstitute the Development Board.

The Development Boards shall stand dissolved on completion of three years from the date of

notification, unless dissolved earlier.

Function of the Development Boards-

To select and approve list of schemes/beneficiaries under various developmental

programmes funded by the Government.

To oversee implementation of development schemes executed by various Sectoral

Departments of the State Government for the benefit of relevant community concerned.

To ensure progress of implementation of schemes and proper utilization of grants

sanctioned under Department.

To review the ST schemes and offer suggestions on proper implementation of the same

to the State Government.

The Board shall monitor the implementation of schemes and report to the Government

through SDWO.

The Constitution, Conduct of Business, Functions etc. of the Sub Divisional ST Development

Board shall be carried on as per Govt. Notification No.TAD/BC/440/2013/63, dated 6th
