No.E- 176658/99.- The Governor of Assam is pleased to accord sanction to grant of

study leave in respect of Shri Lachit Boro, Junior Engineer (Agriculture), O/o the Assistant

Executive Engineer, Agriculture, Gossaigaon, Kokrajhar Division, Assam to undergo higher study

for pursuing B. Tech Degree in civil Engineering at Scholars Institute of Technology and

Management, Guwahati for a period of 2 (two) years with effect from 1st September, 2023to

31st August 2025and the remaining 1 (One) year with effect from 1st September, 2025 to 31st

August, 2026 by granting any leave due and admissible to him under leave rules followed by

EOL, subject to the follwing conditions:-

No further extension will be allowed to the incumbent.

The cost of study will be borne by the incumbent himself.

During the period of study leave, he will draw the leave salary equal to the pay that

the Government servant draws while on duty immediately before proceeding on such leave in

addition to dearness allowance and house rent allowance. State Government will not bear any

expenditure in the form of fees, T.A./ D.A. etc. for the study purpose.

The Government servant shall be bound to abide by the terms & conditions as

stated in the bond which he executed as per provision of Rule 8 & 9 of the study Leave Rules,

1969 at Appendix-15 of the F. R. s & S. R. s.

He shall be liable to refund double the amount of leave salary, cost of fees, handling

and other expenses, if any, in case he resigns or retires from service without returning to duty

after the period of study leave or within a period of 3 years after his returning to duty.

This has the concurrence of Finance (Esstt-A) Department vide their U/O No. B/S eCF

No. 630376, dated 28th March, 2025.
