any reason thereof and on recommendation of the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC)

communicated vide their letter No. 267PSC/CON/Exam-03/2026-2027 dated 10th June, 2026,

of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE/ College of Teacher Education (CTE) under the

Directorate of SCERT, Assam in the Pay-Band 4, Rs. 30,000/- 1,10,000/- with Grade Pay of

Rs. 13,300/- only P.M. plus other allowances as admissible under the prevailing rules and

posted them as shown below against their names with effect from the date oftaking over the

charge.

The following are the Terms and Conditions of Service for the appointee:

l. If any selected candidate is found to have submitted false or misleading information

regarding educational qualifications, caste/category, gender, EWS status, or any other details

in their application, appropriate disciplinary and legal action will be initiated. Such appoint-

ment shall also be liable for immediate cancellation as per rules.

2. If the appointee or any of his/her family members is receiving benefits under the

Arunodoi Scheme at the time of appointment, the concemed individual must voluntarily with-

draw from the scheme, in accordance with the Arunodoi Guidelines for obtaining the

appointment.

3. At the time ofjoining, the appointee shall fumish a signed underlaking/affidavit in the

following format:

ernment of Assam, do hereby solemnly affirm and declare that I voluntarily and without

duress agree to all terms and conditions mentioned in the appointment order. I also solemnly

affirm and declare that I meet all the qualifying criteria for the post to which I have been

appointed. Furthermore, I declarc that I have not marrrird a person who has a living spouse

(for female candidates), that I do not have more than one wife living spouse (for male candi-

dates). I also affirm that I do not have more than two living children born on or after 1st

January, 2021from a single or multiple partners. I understand that if any of these declarations

are found to be false, I shall be summarily discharged from service."

4. The appointee shall submit a notarised affidavit in the prescribed format as per the

provisions of Personnel (B) Department O.M. No. ABP.78/202l/62 dated 14th August, 2026.

Simultaneously, Police Verification regarding the character and antecedents of the appointee

shall be undertaken by the concerned Police Authority, and the police Verification Report

shall be submitted to the Appointing Authority within six months from the date of

appointment. The appointment shall be subject to satisfactory verification of the character and

antecedents, and any adverse report' or information contrary to the affidavit may render the

appointment liable to cancellation/removal from service as per the said Executive Order.

5. The appointee's service will be governed by the "New Defined Contributory Pension

Scheme" as notified in Finance Department's O.M. No. BW.7/2008/Pt/40 dated 6th

October, 2009. In this regard, an undertaking must be submitted at the time of joining, which

shall read as follows:

"1 understand and accept that Government servent joining the service of the State

Government on or after 1st February, 2005 shall not be governed by the existing Assam Ser-

vice (Pension) Rules, 1969 and related orders. Instead, their pension and other retirement

benefits shall be governed by the New Pension Rules, which are being introduced in line with

the Contributory Pension Scheme ol Goverment of India."

6. The candidate must report to the respective place of posting within 15 (fifteen) days

from the date of issue of this Notification. Failure to do so will result in automatic

cancellation of the appointment.

7. The inter-se seniority of the appointees will be determined and notified at later stage.

1. In the first instance, it has to be noted that the printing of the weekly Gazette must be completed

by the end of every Tuesday so that it may be duly published on every Wednesday.

2. Every notification and every other matter which is required to be printed and published in

a particular issue of the Official Gazette must, therefore, reach the Director, Assam Government

is not done it is infructuous requesting the Director, Assam Government Press to publish such notification or

other matter in the next issue of the Gazette, the expression usually inserted in all endorsements made to the

Director.

3. Wherever it is necessary to print and publish a notification on a specified date (excluding such

Notification or communicate as are to be published in Gazette extraordinary) clear instruction of that effect

must be given to the Director, Assam Government Press, both on the body of such notification within the

indication at the top in the red ink and is a separate covering.

4. To achieve the objective in papers 2 and 3, it is essential that proper discretion should be

exercised by the concerned officers in the Department or office and all matters for publication in the

Gazette should scrutinised and sent to the Press after careful application.

5. As for publication of any matters in a Gazette, Extraordinary, the existing procedure

whereby the prior approval of the General Administration Department is to be obtained will continue.

the carrying on researches in the matter relating to History Archaeology Ethography, etc. It has a library of

rare books. Journal/historical and antiquarian subjects. The premises of the Samiti, situated on the southern

bank of the Dighali Tank, Gauhati, remains open from 2 p. m. to 5 p. m. on all days except Monday and

Gazetted and local holidays or which it remains closed.

Information which may lead to the recovery of any historical religion article including more manuscript

The Reading Room at Belvedere and the Lending Section of this Library are open on all

working days from 9 a. m. to 8. p. m. and from 10 a. m. to 5 p. m. on Sunday and holidays notified

by the Library and the Second Saturday of every month.

The Reading Room at Esplanode is open on all working days from 10 a. m. to 5 p. m.

The Childrens Wing at Belvedere remains open on all working days from 3 p. m. to 6 p. m. and

Sundays and Holidays from 10 a. m. to 5 p. m. for the children between 5 and 14 years.

The Library is entirely closed on the Republic Day, Independence Day and Mahatma Gandhi's

birth day on the 26th January, 15th August and 2nd October every year respectively.

Persons not less than 18 years of age are eligible to use the Library. Both the Reading Room

and the Lending Section are free to be used by any one residing in any part of the India Dominion.

There is no subscription to pay but only security is each essential for borrowing books.
