NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 5th January, 2001

S.O. 14 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred

by sub-section (6) of section 41 of the Motor Vehicles

Act, 1988 (59 of 1988), the Central Government hereby

makes the following further amendment in the notification

of the Government of India in the then Ministry of Surface

Transport numbers O 444 (E) dated the 12thJune, 1989

namely .—

In the Table to the said notification,—

after serial No 14 and the entries relating thereto,

the following shall be inserted, namely —

"14AJharkhand

JH"

This notification shall come into force on the date

of its publication in the Official Gazette
