NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 8th January, 2001

G.S.R. 14(E).— in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-

Section (i) of Section 1^4, read with Sub-section (i) 132 of the

Major Ports

Trust Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), the Central

Government hereby approves the Mormugao Port Employees

(Grand of Advances tor building of Houses) Amendment

Regulation. 2000 made b\ the Board of Trustees for the Port of

Monnugao Port Trust nnd set out tti the schedule to annexed to

this notification

SCHEDULE

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 28 read with Section

124(1) & (2) of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963) the Board of

Trustees of the Port of Mormugao hereby makes the following regulations

further to amend the Mormugao Pert Employees' (Grant of Advances for

Building of Houses) Regulations, [i 73, namely:

These regulations may be called the Mormugao Port Employees (Grant of Advances for

Building of Houses) (Amendment) Regulations, 2000,

(ii)

They shall come into force with effect from the dateoa which

the approval of the Central Government to these regulations is

published in the Gazette of India.

2.

Delete the existing Clause 3(c) of Mormugao Port Employees'

(Grant of Advances for Building of Houses) Regulations, 1973 and

substitute the same by the following:

Clause Me):

Flats or independent houses are to be planned and constructed in

any locality as per the regulations framed by the local authorities namely

Panchayat/Municipal Council/Planning & Development Authority as the

case may be.
