NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 9th January, 2001
S.O. 23(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred
by sub-section (1) of section 10 of the Contract Labour
(Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970 (37 of 1970), the
Central Government, after consultation with the Central
Advisory Contract Labour Board, hereby prohibits the
employment of contract labour in the jobs or works, speci-
fied in the Schedule annexed hereto, in the establishments
of Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilisers Limited, in their
plants at Chembur, Mumbai, Priyadarshini Complex, and
Thai District Raigad, Maharashtra with effect from the
date of publication of this notification, namely :—
SCHEDULE
Day to day operations of electrical and mechanical
maintenance of various plants and equipments, plumb-
ing, gardening in establishment premises, and job of
rigger and Assistant Supervisor :
Provided that the periodical and occasional electri-
cal and mechanical maintenance, heavy breakdowns re-
quiring replacement of major components, periodical and
occasional plumbing, plantation of trees and cutting of
grass in the premises and the job of vulcanisers shall not
be prohibited
