NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 11th January, 2001

S. 0.33(E).—in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of National

Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorises the Joint

Collector, Office of the Collector & District Magistrate, Collectorate, Srikakulam Distt,

Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh as the competent authority to perform the functions of such

authority under the said Act with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the

Official Gazette, in respect of the land of stretch from Km. 60/4 to Km. 233/0 (Visakhapatnam-

Bhubaneswar Section) of National Highway No. 5 (for widening of existing National Highway

including construction of bypasses, if any) in the state of Andhra Pradesh as specified in the

Schedule below, till further orders.
