G.S.R. 26(E).—In e\ercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of Section 22 of the Cable
TelcMSion Networks (Regulation) Act, 199^ (7 of 1995), the Central Government hereby makes the following rales
fin ther to amend the Cable Television Netwoiks Rules, 1994 namely —
1 (1) These rales may be called the Cable Televib(ui) Netwuiks (Amendment) Rules, 2001
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette
2 In the Cable Television Networks Rules 1994 in rale 6 sub-rale (3), for the wqrds figures and brackets
Cop\ right Act 1972 (14 of 1972V the words figures and brackets Copyright Act 1957 (14 ofl 957)" shall be substituted
