NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 22nd January, 2001

S. O. 68(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred

by section 3 of the Commissions of Inquiry Act, 1952

(60 of 1952), the Central Government hereby makes the

following further amendment in the notification of the

Government of India in the Ministry of Home Affairs

number S.O. 389(E), dated the 17th April, 2000,

namely :—

In the said notification, after the terms of reference,

for the words "The Commission shall submit its report to

the Central Government on or before the 23rd January,

2001",

the

following

shall

be

substituted,

namely : -

"The Commission shall submit its report to the

Central Government on or before the 23rd February,

2001."

Note :

The Principal notification constituting the Com-

mission of Inquiry was published in the Gazette

of India vide number S.O. 389(E), dated, the 17th

April, 2000 and subsequently amended vide

number S.O. 688(E), dated the 21st July, 2000;

S.O. 849(E), dated the 21 st September, 2000; and

S.O. 1041(E), dated the 21st November, 2000.
