sub-section (1) of section 8 of the Cable Television Networks
(Regulations)

(BROADCASTING CORPORATION OF INDIA) hereby makes the
following amendments in its Notification No. S.O. 823 (E) elated 13th
September 2000 published in the Gazette of India - EXTRAORDINARY -
PART II - Section 3 - Sub-section (ii) dated the 13the September, 2000:-
1. Clause (c) of sub-para of para 1 of the above said Notification shall be
substituted by the following, namely :-
"(c) regional language channel of the State/Union territory in which the
cabfe operator is located or the DD (News & Current Affairs) Channel,
as specified in the Schedule;'1
2. In the Schedule attached to the above said Notification, the following
shall be added after entry 22:-
