New Delhi, the 31 st January, 2001

STAMPS

S.O. 87(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred

by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Indian

Stamp Act, 1899 (2 of 1899), the Central Government

hereby remits the duty with which the bonds in the nature

of promissory notes described as TNUDF - Unsecured

Redeemable Non-Convertible Bonds in the nature of

promissory notes aggregating to rupees one hundred ten

crore and five lakh only issued by Tamilnadu Urban

Development Fund Chennai, are chargeable under the said

Act
