NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 2nd February, 2001

No. llt)41/26/2000-A(lmiJ.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 35 redd with section 7 of the Na-

tional Highways Authority of India Act, 1988 (68 of 1988), the National Highways Authority of India hereby makes the

following regulations, namely :—

1.' Short "title and cbmmencement:

1 These regulations may be called the National Highways Authority of India (Transaction of Business

Amendment) Regulations, 2001.

2. They shall come into force on 3rd August, 2000

Regulation No. 4 of the National Highways Authority of India (Transaction of Business Regulations, 1997)

shall be substituted as under w.e.f, the 3rd August, 2000

4. "No meeting of the Authority is to be considered legal and valid unless attended by two third of total

members and three fourth of the part-time members and the Agenda papers for decision required should

have been circulated at least 7 days before the scheduled meeting of the Authority "
