NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, Lhe 14th February, 2001

G.S. R. 96 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred

by the clauses (a) and (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 642

rend vvilh sub-section (3) of Section 60A of the Compa-

n les Ad, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby

makes the following rules further to amend the Companies

(Central Government's) General Rules and Forms, 1956,

namely - -

1 (1) These rules may be called the Companies

(Central Government's) Gentv.il Rules and

Forms (Fourth Amendment iaJcs, 2001,

(2) They shall come into force on the date of

their publication in ihc Official Gazette

In the Companies (Central Government's)

General Rules and Fo'ins, 1956, after rule

4CCC, the following

Ic shall be inserted,

namely:—

"rule 4CCCA—Section 60A—for the pur-

poses of sub-icrtion (3) of Section 60A,

prescribed time limit for filing information

memorandum between the first oiler of se-

curities, previous offer of securities and the

succeeding offer of securities shall be three

months."
