NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 16th February, 2001

G.S.R. 100(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred

by sub-section (1) read with sub-section (6) of Section 3 of

the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), the Central

Government hereby appoints Director, Ports (Operations),

Ministry of Shipping on the Board of Trustees of the Port

of Chennai vice Development Adviser (Ports) as a Trustee

and makes the following amendment in the notification of

the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Surface

Transport (Ports Wing) G.S.R. No. 279(E) dated 31-3-2000.

2 In the said notification against the Serial No 7 for

the words "Development Adviser (Ports), Ministry of

Surface Transport", the words "Director, Ports

(Operations), Ministry of Shipping" shall be substituted.
